Heritage Foundation's Fairgrounds improvement projects
Current projects:
- New food concession stand to better serve patrons of events at the Fairgrounds horse show facility
- Complete restroom facilities at the horse show facility partially constructed by a Cabrillo College construction class
- Electronic/digital sign at Fairgrounds main entrance
- New restrooms at the equestrian center
- Renovation of the East livestock/horse show entrance of the Fairgrounds
- Conversion of one of our existing exhibitions buildings with retractable, accordion sound walls that would facilitate conference use
Completed projects:
- New pavement in the livestock area
- Advertising for the Fairgrounds on the Chamber of Commerce area map
- New cooking equipment
- Underwriting the cost of a major water leak at the well source
- Underwriting the cost of a fire protection system upgrade that was required before the Fair could be opened
- Ongoing support for Fairgrounds' projects
