Heritage Foundation Events

The Foundation puts on several annual fundraisers to raise funds for capital improvements at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. We also host hospitality events during the County Fair, and hold a special Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to thank our hard working and good hearted volunteers! 2009 Holiday Gift Fair

The SCCF Heritage Foundation would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and participants for a successful Holiday Gift Fair. We look forward to next year…enjoy the photos. Click on the image to see the complete slideshow…



Heritage Foundation Craft & Gift Fair:


This festive event full of holiday cheer includes crafts, folk art, antiques, collectables, gift foods, delicious refreshments at the food court, and free parking. The 25 foot high, Christmas tree will light up your child's eyes! Free rides for kids on a full size carousel and a hay wagon.  The Agricultural History Project will host a County Christmas. You can also tour the Rodgers House, and see model trains at the Santa Cruz County Railroad Historical Society. Santa will make a special appearance on Saturday. Children are invited to sit with Santa to share their Christmas wishes and have their photo taken. General admission is $3.00, children under 5 are free.

6th Annual Crab Feed: Saturday, March 6, 2010

crabsEnjoy fresh all-you-can-eat Dungeness Crab or Roasted Herb Chicken, Clam Chowder, Bread, Salad, Wine, Coffee and Dessert. This culinary feast is catered by the Heritage Foundation members and is held in the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds Harvest Building. The evening will also include a silent auction, raffle and dancing to a live band. Door opens at 6pm, with dinner at 7pm. Proceeds benefit Fairgrounds improvements.

We honor and thank our wonderful volunteers each year with a dinner. It's a fun evening where volunteers get to know each other and Heritage Council members better, and make new friends. Volunteer for this event.
